We would like to congratulate the 2009 very worthy winner of the Miniature Championship at Peterborough (MMDA Nationals) Hill Country Minis Texas Ranger pictured left, owned by the Lees of the well known Standard Donkey Stud Gamlingaye Stud.    It is no secret that this colt reminds me so much of our much missed stallion Johnny Paycheck , pictured Right, at same age and so he should as he is by a Brother to Johnny!

We do not Breed any other animals preferring to devote our time to this wonderful Breed.  We believe Miniature Donkeys were bred and should remain to be Athletic and Capable animals.  We have selected Donkeys with Grace, good athletic stride and balance with a deep hip and level topline, being short coupled and have a beautiful eye and expression.  They MUST make wonderful pets with the correct Miniture Donkey Temperament. Through years of careful selection of outstanding Herd Sires and Jennet's we are now able to offer Beautiful Jennet's and Top Quality Jacks  for breeding, show or gentle, friendly pets.  Arranbrook Donkeys are bred for Quality, Type, Soundness and the True Miniature Donkey Temperament. I am extremely proud that in the early years my herd had such a wonderfully successful start ,

breeding our First DBS Champion from our first foal crop!  We are the ONLY Stud in Europe to have achieved this!
