Tom has always been a great favourite of mine and is still one of the very few truly outstanding stallions resident in the UK today.   In fact he was only one of two outside stallions I would ever given recommendations for!

It is with great pleasure and very many thanks to his previous owner Kim Stanton, that we welcome Tom into our Herd.  Approaching his 10th birthday and still showing no signs of coarseness, small neat head, pretty eye though of a more drafty build.

Itsy Bitsy Tomcat certainly needs no introduction to those of us who have been involved in the breed for any length of time and is probably responsible for more people coming into the breed than any other Miniature Donkey.

For newbie's to the Breed Tom was top winning Miniature Donkey for many years and was unbeaten for quite a number of years.

He was also the First ever Miniature do do well at the DBS Supreme show.

A list of some of his many wins are lower down this page.

Tommy has been unshown since 2006 due to his previous owners personal circumstances.

Tommy's pedigree holds some of the very best of the L N bloodline.

Containing small, drafty  "proper" Donkeys more than capable of working.

I have long felt the best is yet to come from this jack both in the show ring and in his progeny.

Although he has produced some show quality foals in the past, I do feel the Quality of Mare's available to him has not always been in his best interest.

An old saying fits him beautifully:

He's a good stallion but not God therefore could not be expected to perform miracles!

The Quality in Mare's to him has now been stepped up and we expect a few really very nice foals by him during 2011 from show winning mares.

 * Hammerton Stud have a very nice Show winning Yearling filly ( Lilly) by him at the the time of writing. June 2010

Tom possesses the most fantastic Temperament proving to be the gentlest of Jacks, very loving and safe.

He is ideal for covering maiden Mare's.

At Stud to approved Mare's.    Fee £500 NFFR
