Johnny certainly left his mark on the miniature world, a super little donkey winning many championships, and leaving behind many of his offspring who I am sure will follow in his footsteps

Johnny was a great ambassador for the miniature donkeys and took on and beat standard donkeys in the show ring. His crowning glory was when he was made Champion at the Royal Highland he will be sadly missed.
I am so upset to hear your sad news. All our sympathy for the tragic loss of your lovely boy. It is desperately bad luck. He will always be remembered here as a very special little chap
There is nothing one can say to take away the pain, except that with him you took miniature donkeys in the UK to another dimension and that will be his lasting epitaph.

Johnny made breed history in 2006 by becoming the First Ever Miniature Donkey to achieve a top 10 placing in the Donkey Breed Society In-Hand Points Championships finishing 7th from over 200 Donkeys shown at Donkey Breed Society Championship and Affiliated Shows!
Johnny only attended 3 shows during 2008 but will be campaigned much more in 2009.
Of the few shows attended he gained:
1st Young Stallion Class at the Donkey Breed Society Supreme Show
And was Top Placed Miniature Donkey Class Winner

In 2004 we had to decide if we wanted a Top Quality Herd Sire or a jack that fitted into the MMDA Stud book.
We decided on the Top Quality Herd Sire, who's actual pedigree, show results and offspring speak volumes.
Johnny's offspring are fully eligible for inclusion into that particular Register should customers prefer that over other Registers.
During 2006 Country Music's Johnny Paycheck excelled in his first full season in the show ring!

This young man has developed into a beautiful individual with that Famous George Jones head and eye appeal. Along with a perfect bite, deep chest, wonderful hindquarters, correctly placed hip and the straightest of hocks which mean he is a fabulous mover. Add to this the fact that he has stayed small, dark and has a wonderful Temperament, All of which he seems to pass on to his offspring, we truly feel Johnny Paycheck has exceeding our expectations.
His foals are beautiful and always correct, small in stature with good mouths and fantastic confident personalities!!
